Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA), 12-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Palo Alto upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Vikings host Mountain View (Mountain View, CA) to battle the Spartans in a De Anza test on Wednesday, April 20. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 11-9. Mountain View won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Stockdale (Bakersfield, CA)

With the defeat, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory falls to 11-8 on the season. The Fightin' irish host Gunn (Palo Alto, CA) to battle the Titans in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 19. The Titans come into the test with a record of 8-9. Gunn lost 12-7 in their recent non-league test against Burlingame (Burlingame, CA)
