April 14, 2022: Union Bridge, MD 21791 Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Francis Scott Key Eagles (Union Bridge, MD), 5-3 in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. James for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 19. Catoctin will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD). The Saints record now stands at 5-2.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Manchester Valley Mavericks (Manchester, MD) in a Monocacy Valley match, on Tuesday, April 19. Francis Scott Key will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
