April 14, 2022: Cottondale, AL 35453 Bessemer City Tigers (Bessemer, AL) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the McAdory Yellowjackets (McCalla, AL) in a 6A Area 8 challenge, on Tuesday, April 19. Bessemer City will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record.
The Stampede now possess a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they host Northridge for a 6A Area 7 challenge on Friday, April 15. Paul W. Bryant will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-7.
