The Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) softball routed the visiting Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA), 15-5 in Thursday's league bout.

The Mustangs (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Ferndale (Johnstown, PA). The Yellow Jackets go into the Western Pennsylvania - Northern bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Ferndale was routed by Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA), 17-7, in a league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Windber for a Western Pennsylvania - Northern bout on Monday, April 18.
