April 14, 2022: Whitewater, KS 67154 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Ell-Saline Cardinals (Brookville, KS) and the host Remington Broncos (Whitewater, KS), saw Ell-Saline's softball squad nip Remington by a count of 5-1.
The Cardinals now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Canton-Galva for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 19. Ell-Saline will face a Eagles squad coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Bennington (Bennington, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Remington falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Inman (Inman, KS) to face the Inman Teutons in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 19.
