Kansas High School Softball - Ell-Saline holds off Marion
April 29, 2022: Marion, KS 66861 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Ell-Saline Cardinals (Brookville, KS) and the host Marion Warriors (Marion, KS), witnessed Ell-Saline's softball squad tip Marion by a count of 8-6.
The Cardinals now sport a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Little River for a non-league match on Friday, May 6. Ell-Saline will face a Redskins squad coming off a 32-25 non-league loss to Ness City (Ness City, KS). The Redskins record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Marion moves to 4-4 on the season. The Warriors host Inman (Inman, KS) to face the Inman Teutons in a non-league match on Monday, May 2. The Inman Teutons go into the match with a record of 0-8. Inman lost 28-8 in their recent non-league match against Bennington (Bennington, KS)
