Illinois High School Softball - Hinsdale Central bounces Leyden
April 14, 2022: Franklin Park, IL 60131 Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL), 17-12 in a non-league challenge.
The Red Devils now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hinsdale South for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. Hinsdale Central will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Leyden falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Waukegan (Waukegan, IL) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 3-3.
