Illinois High School Softball - Hinsdale South bounces Leyden
May 19, 2022: Darien, IL 60561 Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) and the visiting Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL), witnessed Hinsdale South's softball squad tip Leyden by a count of 5-0.
The Hornets now have a 11-12 record. They take the field next when they host Proviso East for a West Suburban - Gold test on Friday, May 20. Hinsdale South will encounter a Pirates team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 1-13.
