April 14, 2022: Shawnee Mission, KS 66208 The Shawnee Mission East Lancers (Shawnee Mission, KS) softball routed the visiting Washington Wildcats (Kansas City, KS), 12-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Lancers (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Olathe South (Olathe, KS). The Falcons go into the Sunflower bout with a 1-7 record. In their last bout, Olathe South was routed by Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS), 11-0, in a non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Shawnee Mission West for a non-league bout on Friday, April 15. Washington will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Leavenworth (Leavenworth, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 2-6.
