The Berkeley Yellowjackets baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Castro Valley Trojans to 3 in the Yellowjackets league victory on Friday.

The Yellowjackets (8-4) will now prepare for their match against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Fightin' Irish go into the non-league match with a 9-9 record. In their last match, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory edged Mills (Millbrae, CA), 22-4, in a non-league match.
