Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX), 11-1 in a league test.

With the win, Sinton upgrades its record to 24-1 on the season. The Pirates host Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, April 15. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 20-14. Cornerstone Christian lost 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Varsity Opponent (, )

With the defeat, Calhoun falls to 15-9 on the season. The Sandcrabs host Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX) to battle the Pirates in a 4A Region IV District 30 test on Tuesday, April 18. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 11-11. Rockport-Fulton won 6-1 in their recent league test against Jones (Beeville, TX)
