Davis Blue Devils (Davis, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Davis upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA) to battle the Eagles in a Delta League test on Monday, April 17. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 10-9. Pleasant Grove won 6-1 in their recent league test against Sheldon (Sacramento, CA)

With the defeat, McClatchy falls to 11-8 on the season. The Lions host Kennedy (Sacramento, CA) to battle the Cougars in a Metropolitan Conference test on Tuesday, April 18. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 8-6.
