Texas High School Softball - Cigarroa bounces Juarez-Lincoln
April 14, 2023: Laredo, TX 78046 The Cigarroa Toros (Laredo, TX) softball routed the visiting Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), 22-12 in Friday's league bout.
The Toros (3-17) will now prepare for their bout against Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Rattlers go into the 5A Region IV District 30 bout with a 24-3 record. In their last bout, Rio Grande City toppled Martin (Laredo, TX), 12-0, in a league bout.
The Huskies now possess a 2-16 record. They play next when they host Martin for a 5A Region IV District 30 bout on Tuesday, April 18. Juarez-Lincoln will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-16.
