California High School Softball - Irvine bounces Portola
April 14, 2023: Irvine, CA 92618 The Irvine Vaqueros routed the host Portola Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 22-1 in Friday's league battle.
The Vaqueros (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Woodbridge (Irvine, CA). The Warriors go into the Pacific Coast battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Woodbridge topped Beckman (Irvine, CA), 6-4, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Woodbridge for a Pacific Coast battle on Wednesday, April 19. Portola will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Laguna Hills (Laguna Hills, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-6.
