The crowd at Friday's league match between the Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) and the visiting Lake Havasu Knights (Lake Havasu City, AZ), saw Verrado's softball squad nip Lake Havasu by a count of 2-1.

The Vipers now sport a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westview for a 5A Desert West match on Monday, April 17. Verrado will face a Knights squad coming off a 16-3 league loss to La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 0-18.
