April 14, 2023: St. Marys, OH 45885 The crowd at Friday's league match between the Memorial Roughriders (St. Marys, OH) and the visiting Wapakoneta Redskins (Wapakoneta, OH), saw Memorial's softball squad nip Wapakoneta by a count of 7-4.
The Roughriders now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ottawa-Glandorf for a Western Buckeye match on Tuesday, April 18. Memorial will face a Titans squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Elida (Elida, OH). The Titans record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Wapakoneta falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Redskins host Van Wert (Van Wert, OH) to face the Cougars in a Western Buckeye match on Tuesday, April 18. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 1-8. Van Wert lost 13-0 in their recent non-league match against Fairview (Sherwood, OH)
