Virginia High School Baseball - Courtland nips Colonial Forge
April 14, 2025: Stafford, VA 22554 The Courtland Cougars baseball team scored 2 runs and held the host Colonial Forge Eagles to 1 in the Cougars non-league win on Monday.
The Cougars now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Chancellor for a Battlefield test on Tuesday, April 15. Courtland will play a Chargers team coming off a 14-1 league loss to James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 0-6.
With the defeat, Colonial Forge drops to 7-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Brooke Point (Stafford, VA) to play the Black Hawks in a Commonwealth test on Tuesday, April 15. The Black Hawks go into the test with a record of 1-4. Brooke Point lost 12-2 in their recent league test against Mountain View (Stafford, VA)
