The Liberty Charter Lions baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Ocean View Christian Patriots to 0 in the Lions league win on Monday.

The Lions now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain Empire for a Summit test on Thursday, April 17. Liberty Charter will clash with a Redhawks team coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Calipatria (Calipatria, CA). The Redhawks record now stands at 8-4.

With the defeat, Ocean View Christian drops to 6-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Victory Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA) to clash with the Knights in a Patroit test on Thursday, April 17.
