Missouri High School Baseball - Marion defeats Notre Dame
April 14, 2025: Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Marion Wildcats (Marion, IL) and the host Notre Dame Bulldogs (Cape Girardeau, MO), saw Marion's baseball team gain a win over Notre Dame by a tally of 8-2.
The Wildcats (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. Anthony (Effingham, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, St. Anthony was overwhelmed by Waltonville (Waltonville, IL), 4-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Notre Dame drops to 6-7 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Poplar Bluff (Poplar Bluff, MO) to clash with the Mules in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Mules go into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Poplar Bluff lost 15-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Brookland (Brookland, AR)
