The Wildcats now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Vernon for a South Seven challenge on Thursday, April 24. Marion will clash with a Rams team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Breese Central (Breese, IL). The Rams record now stands at 5-11.
With the defeat, Sikeston drops to 6-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host Perryville (Perryville, MO) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 25. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Perryville won 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Windsor (Imperial, MO)
