South Carolina High School Soccer - Dorman nudges Spartanburg
April 14, 2025: Spartanburg, SC 29307 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Dorman Cavaliers (Roebuck, SC) and the host Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC), saw Dorman's soccer squad hold off Spartanburg by a count of 1-0.
The Cavaliers (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC). The Rebels enter the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, James F. Byrnes tipped Gaffney (Gaffney, SC), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Vikings battle the Eastside Eagles (Taylors, SC) in a battle, on Thursday, April 17. Spartanburg will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 10-2 record after their 4-2 league win over Wade Hampton (Greenville, SC).
