April 14, 2025: Cottondale, AL 35453 The Brookwood Panthers triumphed over the host Paul W. Bryant Stampede softball squad by a count of 22-0 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Panthers play the American Christian Academy Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Brookwood will attempt to upgrade on its 30-12 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 27-15 record after their 13-9 non-league loss to Northside (Northport, AL).
The Stampede (1-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Jaguars enter the 6A Area 6 challenge with a 6-16 record. In their last challenge, Northridge overcame Central (Tuscaloosa, AL), 22-7, in a league challenge.
