West Virginia High School Softball - Huntington topped by Cabell Midland
April 14, 2025: Huntington, WV 25701 Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV), 21-3 in a league game.
With the triumph, Cabell Midland upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Knights host St. Albans (St. Albans, WV) to play the Red Dragons in a Mountain State game on Tuesday, April 15. The Red Dragons enter the game with a record of 7-4. St. Albans won 6-2 in their recent league game against George Washington (Charleston, WV)
The Highlanders now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Buffalo for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 16. Huntington will play a Bison squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Riverside (Belle, WV). The Bison record now stands at 6-2.
