Virginia High School Softball - Courtland edged by Colonial Forge
April 14, 2025: Stafford, VA 22554 Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Courtland Cougars (Spotsylvania, VA), 3-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Colonial Forge improves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Brooke Point (Stafford, VA) to face the Black Hawks in a Commonwealth game on Tuesday, April 15. The Black Hawks enter the game with a record of 2-5. Brooke Point lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Mountain View (Stafford, VA)
The Cougars now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Chancellor for a Battlefield game on Tuesday, April 15. Courtland will face a Chargers squad coming off a 27-5 league loss to James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 0-4.
