New Jersey High School Softball - Lakeland Regional bested by Wayne Valley
April 14, 2025: Wayne, NJ 07470 The Wayne Valley Indians triumphed over the visiting Lakeland Regional Lancers softball squad by a count of 19-4 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Indians play the West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ) in a Big North - Independence challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Wayne Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 5-4 league loss to Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ).
The Lancers (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against NV - Demarest (Demarest, NJ). The Norsemen enter the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, NV - Demarest overcame Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ), 7-2, in a league challenge.
