In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Greenback Cherokees baseball team scored a close 10-8 win over the Oakdale Eagles.

The Cherokees (9-11) will now prepare for their game against Polk County (Benton, TN). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 4-13 record. In their last game, Polk County by Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences (Chattanooga, TN), 14-10, in a non-league game.
