In Tuesday's league test, the Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Bryan Vikings (Bryan, TX), by a tally of 20-1.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX) in a 6A Region II District 12 test, on Friday, April 17. Midway will attempt to advance on its 24-4 season record. The Bulldawgs go into the test with a 20-11 record after their 12-2 league win over Temple (Temple, TX).

The Vikings (3-18) will now prepare for their test against Killeen (Killeen, TX). The Kangaroos go into the 6A Region II District 12 test with a 1-20 record. In their last test, Killeen was routed by Temple (Temple, TX), 22-1, in a league test.
