In Tuesday's league match, the host Wheeling Wildcats softball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Hoffman Estates Hawks.

The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Palatine (Palatine, IL). The Pirates go into the Mid-Suburban East match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Palatine gained a win over Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL), 2-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) in a Mid-Suburban East match, on Thursday, April 16.
