In Tuesday's league test, the Kaufman Lions (Kaufman, TX) softball squad got by the visiting Terrell Tigers (Terrell, TX), by a count of 10-9.

Next, the Lions meet the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars (Midlothian, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 test, on Friday, April 17. Kaufman will attempt to upgrade on its 11-13 season record. The Jaguars go into the test with a 17-11 record after their 2-1 league win over Ennis (Ennis, TX).

The Tigers (9-22) will now prepare for their test against Midlothian (Midlothian, TX). The Panthers go into the 5A Region II District 15 test with a 19-10 record. In their last test, Midlothian was nudged by Crandall (Crandall, TX), 7-3, in a league test.
