California High School Softball - Poway can't get by San Marcos

San Marcos Knights (San Marcos, CA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Poway Titans (Poway, CA), 3-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, San Marcos upgrades its record to 8-9 on the year. The Knights host Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA) to play the Sundevils in a Palomar North County game on Thursday, April 16. The Sundevils enter the game with a record of 9-5. Mt. Carmel lost 7-5 in their recent league game against Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA)

The Titans now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Del Norte for a Palomar North County game on Thursday, April 16. Poway will play a Nighthawks squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 7-8.
