Ohio High School Baseball - Fairless loses to Manchester
April 15, 2022: Akron, OH 44319 The Manchester Panthers crushed the visiting Fairless Falcons baseball team by a count of 25-5 in Friday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Trinity for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 16. Manchester will face a Trojans team coming off a 7-3 league loss to Beachwood (Beachwood, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.
Next, the Falcons face the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) in a Principals bout, on Monday, April 18. Fairless will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Royals enter the bout with a 9-1 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH).
Game Summary
Fairless lost a league battle at Manchester in a lopsided game. Manchester came out swinging and never looked back. The Falcons were led offensively by Trevor Horrisberger, who had a double and single with two RBI’s, Ethan Lautzenheiser had two hits, Justin Burkett a double, Logan Barkan RBI single and Andy Gill had a single. The loss drops the Falcons overall record to 1-4 and 0-4 in league play.
