Missouri High School Volleyball - Metro-East Lutheran tips Notre Dame
April 15, 2023: Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL) volleyball squad nudged the host Notre Dame Bulldogs (Cape Girardeau, MO), by a margin of 3-2.
Next up, the Knights face the Maryville Christian Lions (Maryville, IL) in a Gateway Metro contest, on Tuesday, April 18. Metro-East Lutheran will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL).
With the loss, Notre Dame moves to 2-8 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Clayton (St. Louis, MO) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Monday, April 17. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Clayton lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Saxony Lutheran (Jackson, MO)
