In Monday's league challenge, the Lake Placid Dragons (Lake Placid, FL) baseball squad edged the visiting Fort Meade Miners (Fort Meade, FL), by a final score of 4-3.

With the win, Lake Placid upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Dragons host Sebring (Sebring, FL) to battle the Blue Streaks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Blue Streaks come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Sebring lost 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against IMG Academy Gray (Bradenton, FL)

With the defeat, Fort Meade falls to 13-8 on the season. The Miners travel to Bartow (Bartow, FL) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a non-league game on Thursday, April 18.
