April 15, 2024: Jacksonville, AL 36265 Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder (Jacksonville, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Weaver Bearcats (Weaver, AL), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Jacksonville Christian Academy upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Thunder travel to Athens Bible (Athens, AL) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, April 18. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 12-12. Athens Bible won 23-6 in their recent non-league test against Mae Jemison (Huntsville, AL)
With the defeat, Weaver falls to 5-12 on the season.
