April 15, 2024: Newark, NJ 07102 Arts Jaguars (Newark, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Irvington Blue Knights (Irvington, NJ), 26-15 in a league challenge.
The Jaguars now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Vincent Academy for a SEC - Independence challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Arts will battle a squad coming off a 19-12 league loss to Science Park (Newark, NJ). The record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Irvington falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Blue knights travel to Science Park (Newark, NJ) to battle the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 2-1. Science Park won 14-13 in their recent non-league game against Orange (Orange, NJ)
