Mississippi High School Softball - Wheeler gets by Biggersville
April 15, 2024: Corinth, MS 38834 The Wheeler Eagles nipped the host Biggersville Lions softball squad by a final score of 4-3 in Monday's league battle.
The Eagles (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS). The Braves go into the non-league battle with a 25-3 record. In their last battle, Tishomingo County held off Belmont (Belmont, MS), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Lions now possess a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Baldwyn for a 1A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, April 16. Biggersville will confront a Bearcats squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to New Albany (New Albany, MS). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-10.
