Illinois High School Softball - Genoa-Kingston bounces Lutheran
April 15, 2024: Genoa, IL 60135 The Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL) softball routed the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL), 10-0 in Monday's league bout.
The Cogs (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL). The Cardinals go into the Big Northern bout with a 12-6 record. In their last bout, Stillman Valley toppled Dixon (Dixon, IL), 7-4, in a league bout.
The Crusaders now possess a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Rochelle for a non-league bout on Friday, April 19. Lutheran will confront a Hubs squad coming off a 10-5 league loss to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL). The Hubs record now stands at 4-7.
