April 15, 2024: Belmar, NJ 07719 St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Henry Hudson Admirals (Highlands, NJ), 7-4 in a league challenge.
The Purple Roses now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Keyport for a Shore - B Central challenge on Tuesday, April 16. St. Rose will face a Raiders squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Henry Hudson falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Admirals travel to Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ) to face the Green Wave in a Shore - B Central challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Green Wave enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
