The Lexington Christian Eagles routed the host Model Patriots softball squad by a count of 16-3 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Tates Creek (Lexington, KY). The Commodores go into the District 43 battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, Tates Creek was routed by Lafayette (Lexington, KY), 10-2, in a league battle.
