Pennsylvania High School Softball - Northwestern bounces Seneca
April 15, 2024: Albion, PA 16401 Spectators at Monday's league match between the Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA) and the visiting Seneca Bobcats (Erie, PA), witnessed Northwestern's softball squad tip Seneca by a count of 6-1.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Girard for a District 10 Region 3 match on Wednesday, April 17. Northwestern will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 23-0 league loss to Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Seneca moves to 0-3 on the season. The Bobcats host Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA) to meet the Lakers in a District 10 Region 3 match on Tuesday, April 16. The Lakers go into the match with a record of 0-4. Mercyhurst Prep lost 14-2 in their recent league match against North East (North East, PA)
