The Andrews Wildcats baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Murphy Bulldogs to 7 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Murphy for a Smoky Mountain 1A test on Thursday, April 17. Andrews will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-7 league loss to Andrews (Andrews, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-9.

With the defeat, Murphy drops to 4-9 on the year. The Bulldogs host Towns County (Hiawassee, GA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 16. The Indians go into the test with a record of 16-13. Towns County won 17-4 in their recent non-league test against Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC)
