North Carolina High School Soccer - Alexander Central Freedom
April 15, 2025: Taylorsville, NC 28681 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) and the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), saw Alexander Central's soccer squad knock off Freedom by a count of 3-1.
The Cougars (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies enter the Northwestern 3A/4A battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Ashe County by Watauga (Boone, NC), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Patriots battle the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A battle, on Thursday, April 17. Freedom will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 9-4 record after their 2-1 league win over South Caldwell (Hudson, NC).
