In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Ponderosa Bruins baseball team scored a close 10-3 victory over the Union Mine Diamondbacks.

The Bruins (11-7) will now prepare for their game against Rosemont (Sacramento, CA). The Wolverines enter the non-league game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Rosemont held off Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA), 5-1, in a non-league game.
