In Tuesday's league contest, the host Central Catholic Vikings lacrosse squad scored a good 16-8 win over the Hempfield Area Spartans.

The Vikings (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Penn-Trafford was overwhelmed by Peters Township (McMurray, PA), 10-6, in a league contest.
