Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) and the visiting Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR), witnessed Sheldon's lacrosse squad top Thurston by a score of 13-2.

The Irish now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thurston for a Southwest challenge on Friday, May 2.

With the loss, Thurston falls to 2-4 on the year. The Colts host Marist (Eugene, OR) to clash with the Spartans in a Southwest challenge on Thursday, April 17. The Spartans go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
