Alabama High School Soccer - Talladega nudges Cleburne County
April 15, 2025: Heflin, AL 36264 In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Talladega Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Cleburne County Tigers.
The Tigers (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Anniston (Anniston, AL). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Area 5 outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, Anniston was edged by Cleburne County (Heflin, AL), 9-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Weaver Bearcats (Weaver, AL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, April 17. Cleburne County will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Bearcats go into the outing with a 8-4 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Childersburg (Childersburg, AL).
