Iowa High School Soccer - Indianola knocks off Newton
April 15, 2025: Indianola, IA 50125 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Indianola Indians (Indianola, IA) and the visiting Newton Cardinals (Newton, IA), saw Indianola's soccer squad triumph over Newton by a count of 7-0.
The Indians (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Carlisle was overwhelmed by Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA), 1-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Cardinals battle the Ogden Bulldogs (Ogden, IA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 18. Newton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Ballard (Huxley, IA).
