In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Alexandria-Monroe Tigers softball team scored a nice 21-1 win over the Elwood Panthers.

The Tigers (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Lapel (Lapel, IN). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Lapel notched a victory over Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN), 15-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Madison-Grant Argylls (Fairmount, IN) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 17. Elwood will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Argylls come into the match with a 3-2 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Lapel (Lapel, IN).
