April 15, 2025: Somerset, KY 42501 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY) and the host Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY), observed Casey County's softball team get by Somerset by a tally of 5-2.
The Rebels (7-6) will now prepare for their bout against Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Rebels go into the non-league bout with a 4-7 record.
In their next game, the Briar Jumpers battle the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 17. Somerset will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Colonels go into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 18-10 league loss to Corbin (Corbin, KY).
