South Carolina High School Softball - Moore Catholic edges Chesterfield
April 15, 2025: Chesterfield, SC 29709 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Moore Catholic Mavericks (Staten Island, NY) and the host Chesterfield Golden Rams (Chesterfield, SC), observed Moore Catholic's softball team get by Chesterfield by a tally of 10-8.
The Mavericks (12-1) will now prepare for their bout against Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV). The Golden Bears go into the non-league bout with a 15-6 record. In their last bout, Oak Glen tipped Lakewood (Sumter, SC), 6-2, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Golden Rams clash with the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars (Cicero, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Chesterfield will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Northstars go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 10-8 non-league loss to Yorktown (Arlington, VA).
